Close to 100 people are traveling with Bishop Laurie Haller and her husband Rev. Gary Haller on an Educational Opportunities pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The adventure began January 9, 2018.
They arrived at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv at about 11 am local time January 10 (which is 8 hours ahead of Iowa's Central time.)
The first stop of the day was the Roman aqueduct in Caesarea.
The group then toured the amphitheater in Caesarea.
Bishop Laurie led a Bible in the amphitheater about Peter and Cornelius and concluded with a prayer for open hearts as the group journeys in the places Jesus walked.
